Review of Max on Life
Max on Life by Max Lucado, a trusted pastor and author of a plethora of books, brings answers to a long list of questions many of us have pondered at some time. I can say without a doubt you will find in this book questions you’ve wondered about.
Some questions you’ll find his answers to:
· “Can I increase my faith that my prayers will be answered?”
· “How can I select the right mate.?”
· “What should I tell my kids about sex?”
· “My husband and I can’t agree on how much money to spend, save, or give.”
· “How can I be less fearful bout losing my job?”
· “How can we be sure there is life after death?”
· “What will we be doing in heaven?”
This is merely a small sample of the interesting topics covered. I found this book informative, fascinating, and scriptural. It belongs on every Christian’s bookshelf.

Review of The Final Summit
The Final Summit, a Quest to Find the One Principle That Will Save Humanity by Andy Andrews, motivational speaker, author and comedian is a continuation of his novel, The Traveler’s Gift.
David Ponder, in The Traveler’s Gift found seven decisions that determine personal success. He now, in The Final Summit at age 74, sits atop his 55-story building housing his business empire. With the recent death of his beloved wife, his desire for living left him and he wishes to die, too.
The Angel Gabriel appears on the scene and whisks David off to a summit meeting with notable historic figures. He with the help of five of them will determine the One Principle That Will Save Humanity as, God points out through the angel, humanity is on a downward slide.
The book takes us through the five ideas the five chosen people determine but it’s the sixth idea with everyone there taking part that provides the answer God is supposedly looking for.
I found the book interesting but I was disappointed with the ending and the One Principle. The book, though written by a Christian, appears not particularly religious but there are nuggets of wisdom to be found in its pages.
